About the Napkin Ring in Suzette Stitch

They are so simple and easy to make. I made them in jute yarn because the material on my placemats and the linen napkins goes so well together. And they are very fast to make 👏❤️

Pattern for the Napkin Ring in Suzette Stitch

START With hook 3 mm: Chain 25 + 1 tch (an extra chain), turn.

RK 1-5 With hook 3.5 mm: Start in the 2nd loop from the hook: (in first stitch: 1 single crochet + 1 double crochet, skip 1 stitch) 12 times, 1 single crochet, 1 tch, turn.

Finish with a chain, tightne it and cut the yarn, so you have en end to sew with (15-20 cm).

When you have finished crocheting the piece, it should measure 13.5 cm wide and 3.5 – 4 cm high.

Then sew the narrow ends together using the yarn end you ended with. You fold it in half and sew around the edge as shown in the picture. Tighten well for each stitch.

Then it becomes quite invisible because you force the two end pieces together 👌
