About Baby Lulu’s Teether
Auntie Mousy Milla is ready for Baby Lulu’s arrival! And I’m just really looking forward to it. I’m also ready for Baby to get itchy gums, and will need something delicious to chew on. That’s why this design came: A teether of wood. With a little yarn decorations on.
Since Baby Lulu is not quite ready for us yet, and we don’t know what gender, it is, then there are teethers in mixed colors. They certainly do not take long to make, so can be produced in all the colors of the rainbow.
Time to produce: 20 minutes
Skill level: Easy
Size: 6 cm in width
For this crochet pattern on Baby Lulu’s Teether, you need to be able to crochet around a wooden ring and make the Shell Stitch.

FYI: Make sure, that you make the last stitch very very tight.
The Shell Stitch row
(See pictures of the proces down below.)
Then you turn the whole thing around, and crochet the Shell Stitch row:
1 chain, 1 sc (in the 2nd stitch from the hook), (skip 1 stitch, 5 double crochet in the next stitch, skip 1 stitch, 1 sc) 10 times.
Cut the yarn, pull tight to lock the stitch and weave in the end in between the Shell Stitches.
Step 1
Turn with 1 chain, make 1 single crochet in the next stitch (the chain does not count, so you crochet the single crochet in the 2nd stitch from the hook.)
Step 2
Skip 1 stitch and crochet 5 double crochet in the next stitch.
Step 3
Skip 1 stitch again and crochet 1 single crochet in the next stitch.
Step 2 and 3 is repeated, till you reach 10 Shells in total.
Step 4
When you have crocheted all the Shells, you cut the yarn and pull it tight, so the last stitch locks. Now hide the end with a yarn needle in bewteen the Shells, and ta da da daaaaaaa: You have just made a “Baby Lulu’s Teether” for a biting baby 🙂
