2025 ended a little dramatically when our dream girl was born a little too early. It was a tough start for us, and that meant that the Christmas Ornament had to wait a while.
I love the organic shapes in the waves, and how the wool makes the stitches blend together.

I love tassels! They are full of FLUFF and are so pretty in their shape. I’ve had this design in my head for a long time, and I’m just so happy with the result! It fits perfectly with our fine old house ❤️

I love homemade baskets. You can use them for everything, and this one I choose to use as a breadbasket. It is so nice with yarn on the breakfast table, and this is completely simple and nicely round. Most often baskets become hexagonal if you do not get your increases randomly shifted. It becomes completely fine and round, and with a good leather label on, it gets a beautiful finish ❤️

I wanted to make something very speciel for my nephew, when he was born. Now it has become a tradition, that every time a baby comes to the family, they get their first teddy with their name and birth date on. Here it is with Walter's teddy bear as model 🤗 It's such a joy to make these teddy bears, because they are so soft to work with 😍❤️

One of the best has had a little baby, and her name is Ronja. She is the cutest little one, and of course she had to be on Milla Billa with her own pattern for her Baby Blanket.
The pattern is very TV-friendly, as the whole center is primarily double crochet. I'm quite fond of the calm middle, because there is an edge, with the many fine details as a contrast.

Since #herringboneblanket2 was such a hit, I also made the same blanket here in baby size. It’s very simple to make, and the best part is: It’s made in one! So an absolutely perfect “sofa-netflix-turn-thebrain-a-bit-off” project. It gets so soft and warm in Baby Merino ❤️
It’s not very crochet-technically challenging, but you have to make sure to count well, so it all fits when assembling 😊

The pillow here is designed in a wavy design. It takes on a very graphic and geometric look and I love all the shapes in it. It is crocheted in rib, which gives the beautiful and popping lines. It is definitely one of my favorite pillows ❤️

When Manfred was to be baptized, I wanted to make something very special for him. I have always been fascinated by elephants, because they are incredibly strong animals that are so loving and empathetic.
He is made in two strands of Drops Baby Merino, so he becomes both firm and soft. The risk is also lower for holes when crocheting amigurumi ❤️

2024 has been one of the tougher years to get through. I’ve needed a lot of hugs, and that’s why the Christmas Ornament is designed in the look of a woolly sweater. Handmade love. Like a trip to a holiday house in wintertime, where you practically live in that good old woolly sweater, that just feels amazing.

I love texture, which gives some vivid shapes and depths. Here on this edition, I tested many different techniques, and ended up with these incomplete puff stitches that lie like pearls on a string. As always crocheted in the classic Christmas colours: A good dark red, white and gold.

When moving, you need new hot pads. That is why this design popped up, which I think is perfect for our "new" house from 1925 ❤️

I am so lucky to have the sweetest and most loving in-laws, and not least the sweetest mother-in-law. She’s an admirable woman who is constantly working on new and exciting projects. These potholders are made in a zig-zag patterns, that forms a herringbone look, that is very modern. They are crocheted in rib (back loop), which makes them very thick. There is just nothing worse, than silly potholders, you can’t trust. These, you can trust ❤️
The blanket here is a blanket crocheted in filet crochet. It's made a little reverse of what you typically do, where there are more holes, than there are fillings. It's crocheted in one, so there is no need for an edge afterwards, but just weaving in ends.
