I&#8217;ve seen it before in a crochet book called pineapple stitch too.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a super nice stitch, because it fluffs well, and because it has the long threads, that lie so lightly and nicely next to each other. I have seen it used on many different projects. One of the things, that makes it extra nice, is that it looks the same on both sides. It&#8217;s absolutely perfect to use on baby blankets like Walter&#8217;s Baby Blanket here.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>How do you make the Puff Stitch?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>It&#8217;s a stitch that takes up two stitches, and in the video I&#8217;ll show you how to make it, and the best tips to make it as easy as possible:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Yarn over and stick the hook into the stitch. You take the yarn back and keep it at the height of a good double crochet. You repeat this 3-4-5 times, depending on what is written in your pattern. Here on Walter&#8217;s Baby Blanket it&#8217;s 4 times.<br \/>\n<strong>TIP:<\/strong> Hold the yarn on the hook with one of the other fingers \u2013 that makes it easier to hold on to.<\/li>\n<li>Now you yarn over and pull through all the stitches on your hook and make a chain to lock it.<br \/>\n<strong>TIP:<\/strong> Hold the end of the crochet hook down and press upwards with the back of the crochet hook as you pull through all the threads on the hook.
